International "wake-up call" on cyber intrusions. US and China involved in cyber-spying case

The United States has accused China of vast business spying activities by charging five military officials for hacking into US companies to steal vital trade secrets. The claim is that China-based hackers have launched computer attacks on American industrial and military targets, often to steal secrets or intellectual property. The Chinese official claim to be victims as they are the ones who face a significant threat from the NSA and US Cyber Command.

A big-name American maker of nuclear and solar technology, was targeted by the Chinese authorities to steal confidential business information, sensitive trade secrets and internal communications for competitive advantage.

A company's success in the international marketplace should not be based on a sponsor government's ability to spy and steal business secrets, includin charges of trade-secret theft and economic espionage.
China denied it all as fabricated facts.

Safeguard cyber security.
Companies must take steps to uphold cybersecurity. Cybertheft of trade secrets will continue to increase. Ccyber theft includes wiretapping and surveillance activities.

Many countries are unofficially involved in developing, distributing or using malicious software called e.g. BlackShades or similar.

Many IT officials have struggled with cyber security for years so that the company documents etc are not compromised by cyber intrusions and cyberattacks or economic espionage intended to gain commercial advantage for private companies or industries.

Hackers sometimes gain access to computer networks by sending emails to company employees that looked authentic but that contained a link to malicious code eventough quite often no sensitive data or customer information is breached or compromised.
